TogetherVerse addresses the challenge of maintaining emotional connection and preserving shared memories for families and friends separated by distance. It is a multiplayer immersive co-presence XR platform that enables loved ones to collaboratively create and enhance cross-reality memories in real-time, fostering meaningful connections regardless of physical distance.
The platform integrates AI-driven 3D augmentation and a multiplayer XR interface, allowing users to scan physical rooms and interact with both immersive XR views and miniature virtual rooms. This includes seamless image-to-3D generation and voice-to-texture capabilities for dynamic interaction and customization. By bridging physical and virtual connections, TogetherVerse offers a deeply engaging way to preserve and relive memories with spatial interactivity and personalization, surpassing traditional communication tools.
Built using C#, Python, Meta SDK, and Photon Fusion, this project highlights the potential of AI and spatial computing to reshape social communication. Designed during the MIT Reality Hack 2025, TogetherVerse offers a glimpse into a future where physical distance no longer limits emotional closeness.
