[blank] scope is an AI-powered binocular that lets you experience the world as it is- and what it could be. This device explores the interplay between present perception and AI-reimagined pasts or futures, directly engaging with the constructed nature of memory. [blank] scope features dual virtual views presented through a single camera feed: one offering an unfiltered real-time scene, and the other displaying that same scene transformed through a user-selected cultural or historical lens using generative AI. The final, composite image is formed solely within the user's mind, intentionally blurring the lines between immediate reality and imagined recollection. By manipulating physical rotary encoders, users can dynamically shift temporal and cultural perspectives, transforming their immediate surroundings into scenes like 1800s Paris or a speculative future. These AI-generated visions are interpretations, not historically precise recreations, influenced by model training data, user imagination, and fragmented cultural memories. [blank] scope aims to foster curiosity and profound reflection on how technology enables us to envision alternative realities and subtly shapes our understanding of what we see and remember.
Is the reality really what you think you see?
Who is telling the history?
Who's history?
Who control the history?
Who is telling the history?
Who's history?
Who control the history?
